The Other Side Of The Window Background Costumes

Welcome to THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WINDOW, background talent! Your presence adds detail and atmosphere to the film. We’re glad you’re here!

A few housekeeping notes…
  1. Please be on time. Make sure that you are checked in by the AD Department and fill out paperwork before we can look at you. If you are late, the Costume Department does not get as much time to make sure you look great.
  2. On the day you work, please come already dressed in your best interpretation of the look based on the pictures and color palette. We do ask that you bring multiple options, so please come prepared with at least 3 options that are clean and pressed. Bring all options to Extras Holding! Do not leave them in you car. The final choices will be made by the Costume Designer. Additionally, come with your hair and makeup already done as well.
  3. If you are booked for multiple days in a row, please be prepared to bring the same looks you have already worn on camera for continuity purposes unless instructed differently.
  4. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SHOES :)
Do’s: solid colors (according to the pallets), wide stripes, large scale prints, comfortable clothing and shoes, weather-appropriate (for your comfort), a bag to carry it all
Dont’s: neon, glitter/sequins, uncomfortable shoes, logos and branding on the outside of the clothing (Nike, Gap, Budweiser, etc) trademarked characters/teams (Superman, Star Wars, NFL, etc) even local brands, accessories that make noise
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please refer to color palette and bring nice formals heels and elegant sparkly jewelry options. Think red carpet. Come as if you were actually going to a gala meaning hair and make up ready. If you are not ready upon arrival you will be in the very last approval group. Additionally, bring a robe and comfort shoes to change into in between takes.

Unless noted otherwise, please keep to this color pallet...

See you on set!
